Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including network, systems, and server support.
Ensure uninterrupted functionality of the HMS used by the hospital (IP/OP, billing, pharmacy, lab, etc.).
Provide on-site technical support and training to staff on using the HMS software efficiently.
Troubleshoot HMS-related issues and coordinate with software vendors for escalations and updates.
Maintain user access, backups, data integrity, and security within the HMS.
Install, configure, and maintain hospital hardware (PCs, printers, biometric devices, CCTV, routers, etc.).
Ensure proper functioning of IT systems in all departments including OPD, IPD, Reception, Lab, Pharmacy, and Billing.
Perform regular system and network audits to ensure compliance and smooth performance.
Maintain records of software licenses, IT assets, and user logs.
Assist in digital initiatives like telemedicine, EMR, e-prescriptions, etc.
Qualifications
:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BCA / BSc IT / BE / B.Tech)
Certifications (preferred)
: Basic networking, hardware, or HMS training certifications
Experience
:
1-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a hospital or clinical setup
Experience working with any HMS (Hospital Management System) is a
must
