Team Overview: Regulatory demands and the focus on Markets Surveillance have intensified globally. As a result, the Compliance Trade Surveillance Technology team at Citi Pune has an increased book of work that requires additional business lines, countries, and more sophisticated surveillance methods to be delivered using our strategic platforms. These platforms allow users to monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes and information barriers, on real time, end of day, and historic lookup bases for indications of potential Market Abuse, Insider Dealing, and other types of fraud. As we further expand global coverage and deliver more sophisticated Behavioral Analytics based solutions, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Depending on your experience and the role that best fits, you will carry out some or all of these tasks \xe2\x80\x93

• Work with business partners and product owners to produce high quality requirements documentation, facilitate UAT, and achieve sign-off
• Partner with data scientists, engineering managers, and business partners on R&D, prototyping, and solution design
• Carry out systems analysis and data analysis in order to inform engineering design decisions and to promote strategic solution design
• Guide scrum and project teams of data analysts, software engineers, testers and other technology partners though the entire software development / project lifecycle
• Manage scope, and perform change management tasks
• Assist with the management of projects of work, including road mapping, project planning, execution, efficiency, timing, functionality, quality and cost
• Direct the communication of project / program statuses, issues, and risks to all stakeholders, including senior management
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices to maximize business value and identifying optimal paths to meet our objectives

Knowledge/Experience & Skills: We welcome applications from all candidates with information technology and / or project delivery backgrounds:

• Relevant work experience in an Information Technology and / or project led organization
• Good understanding of Trade Surveillance (preferred)
• Good understanding of Capital Markets and associated data
• Database querying, SQL, Python, and other technology skills (desirable, but not essential)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to express ideas to people from various business and technology backgrounds
• Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues across technology teams and with business partners
• A keen interest in Information Technology and software delivery
• Meticulous planning and ability to organize self and others to achieve program and project goals and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to lead, persuade, and negotiate as part of a collaborative, open team culture to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Strong decision making and ownership skills
