Who we are looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Audit, Vice President to join our Technology Audit Team and lead our local team in India. To succeed in this role, you need to have a deep understanding of technologies, technology processes and controls, industry standards and related risks for a global organization. You should also have strong knowledge of industry frameworks including COBIT, NIST CSF and Defense in Depth concepts. You should also have experience managing and leading a global team. You will be responsible for working closely with peers on a diverse global team to perform technology infrastructure, security, and horizontal audits. Collaboration with State Street's technology organization is essential. In this role you will join a team that is focused on building leading practices, and you will have a functional reporting line to the Managing Director, Head of Technology Audit for State Street. This role is located in Bangalore, India.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As the Technology Audit, VP you will:Lead and participate in technology infrastructure and horizontal audits and validation activities. Build out continuous auditing processes including the use of data analytics. Collaborate closely with global peers for cyber, horizontal, infrastructure, security, and application and business audit. Stay updated on technology risk, changes in the regulatory environment pertaining infrastructure, cyber, and innovative assurance approaches. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the banks technology leadership team. Manage, develop and coach a diverse global team of IT auditors to provide expert advice on technology risks and threats. Ensure the technology audit function is integrated with the overall audit program. Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to the bank's technology risk leadership team. Monitor, track progress and challenge the sufficiency of audit and regulatory remediation activities. Prepare audit reports and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders. Provide thought leadership on emerging technology risks and threats. Have a deep understanding of technology risk management, including qualitative and quantitative assessments. Serve as a subject matter expert in technology risk frameworks and apply them effectively in audit work. Participate in meetings with key regulators and communicate audit strategy and results effectively. Participate as a non-voting member of various steering committees, management working groups, promoting balanced discussions, and encouraging challenge and debate.

Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security or technology risk management, with at least 5 years of experience in audit or assurance lead roles. Successful experience working in the banking or financial services industry or other regulated industries, with a strong understanding of various global regulatory environments. Expertise in technology risk management, including the latest trends, tools and techniques. Expertise in evaluating various horizontal IT and infrastructure technologies and platforms including networks, middleware, operating systems, change management, SDLC, cloud technologies and the ability to develop and implement effective audit coverage strategies. Regulatory expertise, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements for the banking industry and direct exposure to global regulators in leading, active roles. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, and horizontal technologies and tools and the ability to assess associated risks, including data driven monitoring or penetration test approaches. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CIA are highly preferred.
