The IT Associate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the school's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and digital tools. The role involves providing timely technical support to staff and students, managing school ERP and smart classroom systems, and assisting in technology integration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Support & Maintenance
Provide first-line technical assistance for systems, software, and hardware issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, smart boards, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, email configuration, and printing/scanning issues.
Ensure timely maintenance of all IT infrastructure and coordinate with vendors when needed.
System Administration & ERP Support
Support staff in using school ERP, online examination tools, attendance, and fee modules.
Coordinate with the ERP vendor for updates, troubleshooting, and user access management.
Maintain and update school data backups and ensure information security.
Network & Security Management
Monitor LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi routers, and firewall configurations.
Ensure antivirus, data security, and user access protocols are implemented.
Support CCTV, biometric, and access control systems maintenance.
Technology Integration & Events Support
Assist in setting up IT systems for school events, presentations, and virtual meetings.
Support smart classroom operations and ensure all AV systems are functional.
Help teachers with the integration of digital tools, online platforms, and e-learning modules.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain IT asset inventory, repair logs, and AMC records.
Prepare and share periodic reports on IT issues, resolutions, and system upgrades.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience (preferably in an educational or institutional setup).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic networking.
Knowledge of ERP systems, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and data backup protocols.
Familiarity with CCTV, biometric, and projector/smartboard systems.
