The IT Assistant is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the seamless functioning of IT systems within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting end-users, and maintaining accurate documentation of technical problems and resolutions
Principal Accountabilities
Help with troubleshooting hardware and software
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
Network support and CCTV
Key Competencies
Understanding of IT hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation tools.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Pre Requisites
A bachelor's degree
Training and specialised certifications in device repair, maintenance or installation are also helpful.
Fresher with internship experience
