Job Summary:

The IT Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring seamless operation of the hospital's IT infrastructure. The role involves maintaining hardware, software, and network systems, and supporting hospital management software such as

Presco

and

Caresoft

.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level IT support for computers, printers, scanners, and networking equipment. Manage and troubleshoot hospital software systems including

Presco

and

Caresoft

. Monitor and maintain network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and system security. Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications. Perform regular data backups and ensure system updates and antivirus protection. Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate AMC and vendor service requests. Support biometric attendance, CCTV, and internal communication systems. Provide timely resolution for IT issues raised by hospital departments. Assist during system audits and ensure compliance with hospital IT policies. Coordinate with software vendors for updates, license renewals, and technical issues.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking (LAN/WAN). Experience in handling hospital information systems (HIS) such as Presco and Caresoft. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple support requests efficiently. Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
