Job Summary
The IT Assistant ensures efficient IT operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Key duties include system maintenance, user support, data security, and assisting with upgrades. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Ensure regular updates, backups, and smooth system performance.
Install, configure, and upgrade software and OS as needed.
Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
Set up and manage user accounts and permissions.
Maintain IT documentation and provide regular system performance reports.
Monitor security measures and ensure policy compliance.
Assist with hardware setup, repairs, and maintenance.
Provide basic IT training and support to employees.
Assist IT team with projects and inventory management.
Key Skills Required
