Job Title: IT Asset Management Analyst

Purpose of job:

Contributes towards improving productivity and analytical performance reporting of the GIS Asset Management processing domain

Role context

License Dashboard report generation; Monthly and quarterly reporting of Software Compliance. Coordinate with ITMS on compliance issues. Service Now discovery, data analysis, update and generates reports requested by management, along with recommending and producing reports for quality assurance review of inventory records. Experience with importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modelling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. Managing service request queue for SAM, HAM and KM

Main opportunities/challenges for this role

The It Asset Management Analyst role is accountable:

  • Recording and processing of Software Asset Management tickets.
  • Perform Knowledge Article quality checks using AQI surveys
  • Manage Knowledge feedback tasks.
  • Identify missing services and updating them in Service Catalogue.
  • Reconciliation of BCTN Licenses and ticket management.
  • Asset management systems Periodic dashboards and monthly reports for management reporting and Governance.
  • Processing of IT Hardware (HAM) Tickets.
  • Correct asset records information provided by IT managers, and other sources. Input and maintains accurate hardware records in database.
  • Assist in the development of reporting to address management requirements to obtain information.
Qualifications

Degree level qualification or equivalent

Role specific knowledge and experience

Work with different projects where Asset Management team involvement is required.

Analyses project data

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

ITIL Foundation certification or experience with IT Service Management processes.

Leads projects, medium-to-large in nature and/or high-risk projects

Coordinates a diverse team with awareness of equality and diversity impact
