Summary: We are looking for a technical and experienced Senior IT Architecture Specialist / Senior Developer with strong development skills on public clouds and infrastructure technologies. You need to be able to run technical PoCs, engineer and create new services especially in the area around storage and backup of virtual systems. You will have a chance to directly shape and contribute to the overall Enterprise Cloud Services strategy.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do- As IT Architecture Senior Specialist / Senior Developer your role will be to support the team from a technical expert perspective. Driving the topic of system and database backup in a critical organization wide project, creating, testing and implementing technical blueprints and helping to drive the rollout as well. You will work on a technical level and mainly focus on developing the new ECS backup service. Due to the complex nature of the ECS environment we have many dependencies and it is expected that you are able to perform hands-on tasks and are able execute technical engineering exercises. Due to the central nature of the team, you will have many touchpoints and good collaboration skills are required as you will be a key contributor in nurturing the technological progress in ECS.
What you bring-

• High proficiency in Python/Perl & Powershell
• Experience working on Linux & Windows platform
• Experience in development of solution using public cloud APIs
• Strong data structures, design, algorithms, coding skills, analytical and problem solving skills
• Familiarity in storage, filesystems, object storage is a huge plus
• Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment
• Comfortable in using tools - JIRA, Github
• Knowledge on database architecture is plus
• Understanding in different SAP solutions is beneficial
• Highly structured and organized and excellent communication skills
• High ambition, drive and focus on results and execution
