Role Description

• The IT Application Owner (ITAO) is a critical IT role with overall accountability and ownership for an application and/or infrastructure instance(s). ITAO is an expert with an in-depth functional- and technical knowledge of their application.
• The role's key responsibility is End to end application IT Governance in line with Bank's policies, procedures and standards. The ITAO has to manage and maintain their application, ensuring compliance with applicable IT policies & procedures and with specific consideration to IT Management and Information Security policies. In Summary, An ITAO must take care of both Functional and Non-Functional requirement of their application.
• Specifically, we are looking for an ITAO to help manage db-Internet, a critical corporate banking platform based on AGB Atlas Global Banking, with 18 application instances servicing locations in Europe and the Americas.

Your key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve on availability, stability, and performance of the application on Production and Test environments.
• Validate deliverables for all projects/changes that run through the application. The IT Application Owner is overall accountable for application(s) and/or infrastructure asset instances.
• Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercise for the application.
• Ensure policy compliance and adherence to the governance processes for the application(s) owned.
• Own risk and control processes, incl. associated remediation activities, for your set of applications.
• Respond timely and accurately to external and internal audits and regulatory assessments.
• Manage remediation of gaps in application lifecycle management activities.
• Manage any IT Security incidents that may occur in the application.
• Manage the technical roadmap of the application (technology roadmap compliance), estimate/budget capacity needed.
• Manage application capacity forecasting and monitoring.
• Manage application hardware / software / license upgrades or migration activities.
• Own access management to application and associated infrastructure (incl. user and role recertification on a frequent basis)
• Work Closely with Technical Information Security officer and Application Information Security Officers on items related to IT Security.
• Functional expertise in the financial industry would be a benefit.

Your skills and experience

• 7+ years of experience in Application Management, or similar role
• Platform experience on HPE NonStop, with sound technical and infrastructure knowledge
• IT Risk Frameworks experience is needed.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management. Hands-on ITIL experience is a Plus.
• Tools used: Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, ServiceNow & other standard market tools in this space
• Experience in working in Risk, IT Run the Bank and Support domains.
• Basic understanding of Automated Deployment & CI is a Plus: GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, Teamcity etc
• Some experience on Google Cloud is desirable but not mandatory (On Job Learning)
• Experience of working together with Agile/Scrum teams and their methods.
• Good English spoken and written skills, good communicator with experience in stakeholder management (business & IT).
• Strong team player who also can work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities
• Ability to deal with people across geographies and varied teams on diverse topics.
• Planning/Organizing: Ability to self-organize and manage deadlines
