Role Description:
The Project Manager
-This includes managing end to end delivery of the business requirements, ensuring timely reporting of risk and issues and strengthening control in terms of SaaS solutions. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and change management are key success to the role.
IT Application Owner -
The IT Application Owner (ITAO) has sound IT risk management skills. The Application Owner is accountable for the Application Lifecycle Management of one or more applications/services of an IT unit and the related Run The Bank (RTB) / TCA costs. Ensures that the application(s) are enhanced and maintained in accordance to the requirements of the 'paying customer' and other stakeholders as included in the application strategy and SLA's. With this, clarifies the scope and timing of all activities and deliverables and the value they will generate.
The Application Owner identifies and manages the risks and issues associated with the application(s) and escalates appropriately. In Change the Bank (CTB) projects, The Application Owner is empowered to ensure that the changes to the application(s) are fully aligned / support the application strategy. The main focus is to guarantee the system stability and to ensure a smooth / successful transition to production/ steady-state environment. Cost accountability contains the management and tracking of costs in line with investment governance and maintains the agreed outcomes and service-levels within budget

Your key responsibilities
IT Application Owner:
As part for DWS Compliance IT team in corporate function you will be instrumental to over see the onboarding of compliance applications.
Accountable for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of an application including management of scope
Conducts strategic planning for the application.
Identifies and manages technical projects necessary to ensure required and established service levels are maintained.
Manages strategic capacity, consumption and performance management (Forecast and management based on business plans).
Ensures policy-compliance for dbRAMM, SOX, ASG, ISP, Audit, etc. (incl. the technical ITPM tasks).
Manages software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers
Ensures availability of all necessary application/service knowledge and documentation.
Ensures system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods
Accountable for the 'Run the Bank' ('RTB') /TCA costs
Ensures 'Change the Bank' ('CTB') projects that the changes to the application(s) are fully aligned/support the application strategy across the full SDLC with support on:
participating in cost estimates Solution architecture together with the Solution Architect
Ensures a smooth/successful transition to the production (steady-state) environment
May be responsible for the delivery of small enhancements
Ensure all the Operational Readiness Requirements timely completed for onboarding of new application or at the time of enhancement release into production
IT Project Manager:
Requirement gathering and prioritization
Maintain Book of Work and procure required budget in budgeting cycle
Coordinate with vendor for new requirements and feasible solutions
Identify risk, issues and dependencies and maintain RAID log for the project
Ensure management transparency by way of timely project reporting and proactive engagement
Ensure timely completion of Third Party Risk Management and risk rating of the application
Track project status, maintain action logs, and ensure documentation
Contracting and Payment: Complete risk assessments before service commencement, ensure contractual clauses are included, and execute process activities for contract renewals or amendments
Stakeholder management- Collaborate closely and proactively with Legal regional teams to manage the requirements and overall application lifecycle.
Establish relationship with vendor and internal Legal team to ensure effective and robust management action plans
Your skills and experience
Must be a graduate from reputed university.
10 -15 years of Experience in managing application, project management, stakeholder management.
Person must be having excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience of working in captive is a plus
