Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Application Manager with strong expertise in Network Security to lead, manage, and secure enterprise applications across the organization. The role requires deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of enterprise IT applications, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and support
• Ensure application security by implementing and enforcing network security best practices, policies, and controls
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and business teams to align application architecture with organizational goals
• Oversee application performance, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning
• Manage integration of applications with network and security frameworks such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls
• Identify security vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and drive remediation initiatives
• Lead vendor management, SLA governance, and third-party application engagements
• Provide leadership and mentoring to application support and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal IT governance policies
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of application and security processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT application management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and access management
• Experience working with enterprise applications (ERP, HRMS, CRM, or similar platforms)
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response
• Experience with cloud and hybrid environments is an advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification
• ITIL, PMP, or relevant application management certifications
