Job Description

The IT Systems Analyst 'Logistics' (LO) will be part of the SAP Global Competence Team (GCT) Business Applications, reporting to Manager of Service Operations. He/she will provide ongoing systems support as well as be project member for BorgWarner Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems.

The position will be acting as global 2nd and 3rd level support in the area of inhouse logistics which includes SAP WM and mobile devices. Works well with key users to provide system support and to implement enhancement requests as part of change management process or projects. He/she will apply commonly used concepts, standards, best practices and procedures within the existing SAP GCT Team. Develops technical specifications, performs IT Tests and creates documentations as well as end user training contents regarding his/her functional areas to ensure the system is being used properly and meets business needs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, setup, test and implement global system configurations to provide common IT solution for multiple locations for SAP WM module but also other SAP modules incl. SAP Fiori and Non-SAP.
• Provide support within area of responsibility for global, regional/local IT teams
• Support mobile application based on SAP ITSMobile for e.g. inhouse logistic, shopfloor and quality processes.
• Support global device management and provide 2nd Level support for mobile scanner.
• Participation in creation of global BorgWarner standards, improvement of best practice approach
• Identify alternatives for process improvements / enhancements
• Ensure application and data consistency of standard application platforms through change- and release management incl. relevant documentation
• Provide solution/configuration templates including documentation and training contents for deployment
• Preparing training Documentation material and conduct training to key and end users
• Take responsibility for the overall success of assigned projects and tickets.
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors.
• Update and maintain project documentation, user guides, manuals and other related materials, and share knowledge.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years' experience in the area of Warehouse Management (SAP WM), preferably in automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of configuration/customizing of SAP WM. Additional knowledge in at least one other SAP module (QM, SD, PP, MM) is required.
• Good knowledge of ABAP debugging.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori technology would be a plus.
• Experience to work in a support role and communicate well with global/regional IT teams, internal customers and suppliers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
• Ability to provide technology solutions that meet the business needs, scope, time & cost
• Results oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Fluent English speaking
• Willing to reflect support for different time zones partly to own working hours.
• Consider and seek out the impact of his/her actions within the team. Actively seek collaboration with internal and external team members
