ABOUT THE BUSINESS UNIT


Textron Aviation is the general aviation business unit of the Textron group that was formed in March 2014 following the acquisition of Beech Holdings which included the Beechcraft and Hawker Aircraft businesses. POSITION SUMMARY


Responsible for designing, developing and managing application using Microsoft Power Apps platform. Works with various internal stake holders to gather requirements, build solutions and ensure successful application deployment that fulfills business needs. This role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing application performance, and updating the application based on internal / external requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES


Gain core business understanding of Textron Aviation and aircraft design, operation, and support

Develop and deploy PowerApps projects based on internal customer specifications

Support data analytics and data science team by implementing, and upgrading the Power Apps applications

Install and update software to ensure data platform continuity

Research and lead implementation of new technologies

Interface with other data professionals throughout the organization to embrace cross functional growth

Plan and execute projects according to established milestones and schedules

Conduct project/program briefings to management and end users

Communicate with relevant stake holders and builds solutions

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES


Strong programming skills in Microsoft PowerApps

Familiarity with Python, Java, or other OOP languages

Experience with Power BI development is a plus

Experience in Database development, Web application development is a plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required in MIS, Computer Science, or related technical field/coursework up to 5 years relevant technical


experience required, focused on Power Apps development


OR


Master's degree required in MIS, Computer Science, or related technical field/coursework 3 years relevant technical


experience required, focused on Power Apps development


Domain experience in Aviation industry is plus


Microsoft certifications are plus
