to manage and drive sales of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and IT service/software renewals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, ensuring timely renewals, identifying upselling opportunities, and maximizing customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure timely AMC and service/software renewals.
Act as the primary point of contact for renewal discussions, queries, and escalations.
Renewal Sales:
Track and manage renewal cycles for IT products, services, and contracts.
Prepare and send renewal quotes, negotiate terms, and close renewal deals.
Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments and contract closures.
Sales & Upselling:
Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, licenses, or products during the renewal process.
Work closely with the technical and pre-sales teams to understand customer needs and suggest value-added solutions.
CRM & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of renewals, contracts, and client communications in CRM systems.
Generate regular reports on renewal status, revenue forecasts, and sales performance.
Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams (technical support, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth service delivery and invoicing.
Liaise with OEMs or third-party vendors for pricing, support, and updates.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in IT sales, AMC handling, or renewal processes (preferably in IT services or software industry).
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of IT products, software licenses, hardware components, and service contracts.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with a strong sense of accountability.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and quoting software.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in handling AMC renewals for OEMs like Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, HP, etc.
Familiarity with SaaS subscription renewals or hardware lifecycle management.
Certifications in ITIL, Sales, or related domains is a plus.
