Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Network & Systems Administration

Design, implement, and maintain secure and high-availability networks for hospital systems (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).

Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers supporting medical devices and hospital systems.

Oversee on-premise and cloud servers hosting HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS, ERP, and other applications.

Monitor system performance and ensure network uptime meets hospital-grade SLAs (24/7 availability).

Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls.

Healthcare Systems Integration

Manage interconnections between healthcare systems -- HIS, EMR/EHR, PACS, RIS, LIS, and third-party applications.

Support data flow and API integrations between clinical and administrative systems.

Coordinate with biomedical engineers and application vendors to ensure secure connectivity of medical devices to the hospital network.

Maintain compliance with data exchange standards such as HL7 and DICOM.

Security & Compliance

Implement and maintain security controls to protect patient data and ensure HIPAA-equivalent or local compliance (e.g., NABH, ISO 27001).

Manage firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access control policies.

Co-ordinate periodic security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.

Support data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for clinical systems.

Vendor & Service Provider Management

Manage relationships with IT hardware, networking, and software vendors.

Evaluate vendor performance and ensure SLA adherence for IT infrastructure services.

Coordinate with telecom providers for internet, MPLS, and data center connectivity.

Oversee procurement and maintenance of IT network equipment and licenses.

Maintain updated network topology diagrams, asset inventory, and IT documentation.

Provide second- and third-level support to resolve escalated network/system issues.

Conduct training sessions for IT staff on system best practices.

Participate in audits, accreditation processes, and IT compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field

Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network+ / MCSA / ISO 27001 (preferred).

Experience with HIS, EMR/EHR, PACS/RIS/LIS integrations preferred.

Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, DICOM, HIPAA concepts).

Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix).

Soft Skills:



Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

High attention to detail and reliability (critical for patient-care systems).

Ability to work under pressure and support 24x7 healthcare operations.

Strong problem-solving and documentation discipline.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
