Job Title: IT Administrator - L3
Job Summary
The IT Administrator - L3 is responsible for advanced administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role acts as the highest level of technical escalation, ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as L3 escalation point for complex infrastructure, system, and network issues
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems and architecture
Administer and optimize Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and core services
Manage advanced troubleshooting for endpoints, applications, and network issues
Lead patching, upgrades, migrations, and system hardening activities
Ensure security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and incident response
Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Automate administrative tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
Mentor L1/L2 teams and create technical documentation and SOPs
Work closely with security, cloud, and application teams on strategic initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in IT Administration or Infrastructure Support
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Advanced troubleshooting skills across systems, networks, and endpoints
Hands-on experience with endpoint management and monitoring tools
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), virtualization, and hybrid environments
Knowledge of SIEM, endpoint security, and identity management solutions
Scripting and automation expertise
Industry certifications (Microsoft, Azure, ITIL, CompTIA, CISSP - preferred)
