The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of systems, networks, hardware, and software. The role includes troubleshooting, user support, security management, and coordination with vendors for IT-related services.
Key Responsibilities:
A. System & Network Administration
Manage and maintain servers, networks, and system configurations.
Oversee installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and applications.
Monitor network performance and optimize uptime and connectivity.
Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
B. User Support & Helpdesk
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot computer systems, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Maintain user accounts, email setup, access rights, and security permissions.
C. Security & Data Management
Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, antivirus systems, and threat-prevention tools.
Regularly perform backups and ensure data recovery systems are functional.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and company guidelines.
D. IT Asset & Vendor Management
Maintain an updated IT asset inventory (hardware, software licenses, accessories).
Coordinate with third-party vendors for IT maintenance, AMC, procurement, and support.
Evaluate and recommend IT hardware/software as per company requirements.
E. System Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor system logs, performance issues, and resolve outages promptly.
Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support logs.
Prepare periodic reports on IT operations, incidents, and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in IT administration or similar role.
