The IT Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and user support. This role ensures the smooth running of company IT operations and provides support for all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure:
Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Ensure proper backup and data recovery protocols.
Hardware & Software Management:
Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Manage software licenses, updates, and patches.
Coordinate with vendors for AMC and IT asset procurement.
User Support:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to employees.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain records of support requests and resolutions.
Security & Compliance:
Implement and maintain endpoint security (antivirus, firewalls).
Ensure data security protocols and best practices are followed.
Conduct periodic audits of IT assets and usage.
Email & Communication Systems:
Manage Microsoft Outlook/Office 365 accounts and configurations.
Support Teams/Zoom for virtual meetings.
Set up official email accounts for new employees.
User Management & Access Control:
Create, manage, and delete user accounts as per onboarding/offboarding process.
Manage access permissions for file servers, shared folders, and cloud systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain IT inventory and update asset register regularly.
Prepare reports on system health, incidents, and IT support metrics.
