Description General information The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Software development, Deployment, and maintenance support for customer installations \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and validate third-party security patches to ensure that the reliability of the software is maintained.

• Perform product hardening, to allow only necessary functions for product operation to be accessible.
• Maintain the test/production environment with updated software and hardware for current and future use.
• Ensure that L3/L4 support is operational to efficiently react to bugs and Installing, maintaining, and supporting Software for customer installations
• Implementing group policies, account restrictions, and resource administration
• Installing, maintaining & troubleshooting servers, routers, and firewalls

Background B.E in Computer Science or B.Tech I.T with 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role Working experience in operating systems and virtualization technologies such as Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes etc.. Working experience in cloud operations, e.g., mainly MS Azure, optional AWS.
