Job Description

The ISC Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-planned lessons aligned with the ISC (Indian School Certificate) curriculum for Classes X & XII. The teacher should inspire students, build strong subject knowledge, prepare students for board examinations, and contribute actively to the overall academic growth of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons according to the ISC syllabus and academic calendar. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments. Conduct regular class tests, assignments, and practice sessions to track student progress. Identify students' learning gaps and provide remedial teaching where needed. Develop question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain student records. Guide students for practical work (for Science subjects) and ensure proper lab safety and discipline. Organize and supervise co-curricular activities related to the subject. Maintain discipline and decorum in the classroom. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Stay updated with ISC syllabus updates and examination guidelines. Encourage students to participate in subject-related competitions, Olympiads, and seminars. Provide career guidance and mentoring for competitive exams wherever applicable.
