Job Purpose Role - The FP&A ISC analyst reports to the Global FP&A ISC Manager and works closely with the ISC and Commercial Navigators Global Team, creating an impact by providing high value adding analysis to the ISC and Commercial organization Scope - Supports the ISC and Commercial Navigator in generating insights, particularly in Cost component allocation to Factory output, MME, Tolling, Packing cost, Price Difference, Inventory Revaluation / Write off / Provision and Spot Check, and Other Non -Variable cost. Key Accountabilities Business Insights VMC Insights - Provide business insights to management team on various cost components \'MME, Price Difference, Inventory Revaluation / Provision / Write Off / Spot Check, Cost Allocation to products, Process Order Efficiency, Delivery / Packing cost, Tolling and Other Non-Variable cost. Database Management - Collection and record of the relevant historical data for the analysis purpose, which might impact the financials of the corporate entity. Budget & Forecast - Prepare Budget and QRF for the assigned SCOA as well as support with data and insight to other stakeholder in completing overall Budget and QRF process. Liaising - Liaise with the BU Head / Regions / Function teams to satisfy their information needs as well as act as a link between management and controllers. Project Management - Diver various VMC project and support to highlight cost saving and value addition opportunities. \'Connect with IM team for driving automation projects\'. Reporting and Analysis \'Trend\' KPI (Key Performance Indicator) - Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, secondly analyze the trends of KPIs, especially relating to financial metrics Ad-hoc business performance reporting - Support management team and the Heads of Region / Function / BU with data-driven analysis including support for ad-hoc requests. Balance Score Card / Dashboard - Implement a business intelligence tool, dashboard reports, financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives. Trend Analysis - Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports of various Region / Function / BU, including trend analysis for decision making. Experience 8-10 years\' experience as analyst or as controller in a business environment and/or functional area. You are ambitious and see this function as part of your development to become an all-round Finance professional in AkzoNobel. You are curious, eager to learn and always searching for improvement opportunities (pr ocess wise) You have affinity for numbers and systems, and have strong analytical skills combined with a critical, but constructive attitude. Experience in building automated reports and models is a must, excellent financial and analytical skills. Strong HFM, ERP, BI and other data analytics software systems experience (including advance excel to build automated models via different tools like macro, power pivot, data consolidation and data analysis). Strong analytic skills and the ability to analyze, organize, summarize, and articulate complex financial information for decision making. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner. Able to prioritize and work with multiple supervisors / stakeholders. Strong \'can-do\' mentality and \'drive\' to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders. Self-starter, hands on mentality and team player.
