Job Role:



To plan, design, and manage irrigation systems for landscapes, ensuring optimal water usage and plant health. Responsibilities:



Design and Planning:

Develop efficient irrigation layouts based on site conditions, including soil type, climate, topography, and plant requirements. Use software like AutoCAD, GIS, or other irrigation-specific tools for system design. Calculate water requirements for various landscape areas to ensure even distribution and minimize wastage.

Installation Oversight:

Supervise the installation of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers. Coordinate with contractors to ensure the correct placement of pipelines, valves, and emitters. Ensure systems are installed according to design specifications and timelines.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Inspect and maintain irrigation systems to prevent leaks, clogs, or inefficiencies. Repair malfunctioning equipment, such as sprinklers, valves, or pumps. Adjust systems seasonally based on weather conditions or plant growth changes.

Water Management:

Implement water-saving technologies like smart controllers, rain sensors, or moisture sensors. Optimize irrigation schedules to avoid overwatering or underwatering. Analyze water usage data and suggest improvements for efficiency.

Environmental Compliance:

Ensure systems are designed to minimize runoff and erosion. Work on sustainable irrigation practices to conserve water and protect surrounding ecosystems. Stay updated with local laws and environmental standards related to water use and irrigation.

Client and Team Collaboration:

Must Have



Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, or related fields. 3-5 years of Hands-on experience with the installation of irrigation infrastructure. Strong understanding of pumps, piping networks, sprinklers, and drip systems Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and water management principles. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools Excellent analytical and estimation skills Candidate Must have own Laptop & Bike
