Job Description

Responsible for ironing and finishing garments as part of the production and dispatch process. This role ensures that all garments are neatly pressed, wrinkle-free, and meet Storyloom's quality and presentation standards. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in garment pressing and attention to detail to handle different fabric types carefully.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ironing and steam pressing of garments in production batches. Ensure proper finishing, removing wrinkles and maintaining garment shape. Handle different fabric types and finishes with the appropriate temperature and techniques. Coordinate with the quality and finishing teams to meet daily targets. Inspect garments for stains, damages, or stitching issues before pressing. Maintain ironing equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow safety precautions while operating steam irons and other equipment. Support in folding and packing once garments are pressed and approved.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Good physical stamina and attention to detail. Ability to handle and organize fabric rolls.
