Job Description

To ensure that patient's requirements at the time of admission and discharge are met and that their stay in the hospital is comfortable and hassle free.



To ensure smooth conduct of admission and discharge procedures. F.M. Checklist to be monitored prior to admission



To ensure patient is discharged as per TAT of < 2hrs



To ensure that discharge summary is thoroughly explained and handed over to the patient while leaving, if not (except in the case of insurance patient) to ensure that the patient leaves the hospital with a valid discharge note.



To co-ordinate with Nursing staff to ensure that all investigations and reports are handed over to the patients at the time of discharge and obtain an acknowledgement from the patient (except in MLC cases where documents are sent to MRD).
