IP Floor Coordinator
to join our inpatient services team and help ensure smooth operations, communication, and patient satisfaction on the hospital floor.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily inpatient (IP) floor activities to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Serve as the primary point of contact between nursing staff, physicians, and support departments.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain bed availability.
Monitor patient status and update records accurately in the hospital system.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety, and infection control standards.
Support the nursing team in scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks.
Address patient and family inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
Prepare and maintain reports related to patient census, staffing, and daily operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospital coordination or inpatient unit support.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in hospital information systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
