Pre-requisites - IoT Solutions Engineer

Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation. 5 years of hands-on experience on BMS / automation systems / IoT based systems. Experience with detailed site surveys, BOQ and scope estimation for BMS/Automation projects. Candidates with additional experience of installation, testing and commissioning of BMS will be preferred. Experience with installation and working of field instruments such as DDC controllers, PLCs, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow meters, motorized control valve, instrumentation cables, VFD and control panel. Some basic knowledge on commissioning and operation of VFDs, actuator valves, and its operations. Understanding of different communication protocols like RS485 (Modbus), BACnet, SNMP, LAN, Ethernet etc. and how to integrate different hardware devices over each of these protocols. Strong computer skills (Web Search, Email, Word, Excel, Power Point) Communication: Must speak English and must be able to make communicate to customer's maintenance or engineering team Optional / preferable: Basic understanding of HVAC equipment such as Chillers, Cooling Tower, AHU, VRFs, Heat Pumps, Energy Meters, etc.

Responsibilities:

Understand the hardware & IoT based system of Zenatix for IoT-BMS projects. Understand customer's pain points and perform the site survey as per given use cases for further discussion with the IoT Solutions Specialist Coordinate & perform sites surveys and visits for new project scoping. Ensure the Survey forms/Checklists are filled properly and validated by the site maintenance team or Engineers; and VERIFY the data before processing it to the Solutions Specialist post site Audit.


Also support the operations team to identify the scope of the sites from the checklists and prepare the planning documents as follows:
Installation Locations (Panels, Meters, Sensors etc.)
HVAC High-side Schematic diagrams
Wiring Layouts
Wiring Estimations
Integration Mapping Points

Coordinate with the Operations teams for solutions/BOQ deployment after PO is received, and update the plans for possible on-site execution, get the planning documents verified as per the project plan and report to the manager.

Travel:

This role will need the candidate to travel to sites on as-needed basis.
