What You'll Do
Cisco’s IOT-OD team is developing next-gen operational dashboard to interconnect assets, applications and data to uncover transformative business insights for IOT Customers for various deployments, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, Automation and Smart Connected. You will be working on cutting-edge Device Manager service in Cisco IoT to manage industrial network devices. Designing and developing solutions to manage millions of endpoints for unreliable links in secure way, designing solutions that manage networks on a factory floor and robots or designing management solution for devices that are on the move. Cisco IoT-OD team is looking for an exceptional engineer who has excellent experience in designing and developing Web based applications, to help build device management system for various Internet of Things (IOT) verticals.

Who You’ll Work With
You will be working with a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers on cutting-edge device management systems to manage and interconnect IOT assets and applications through devices such as Cisco’s leading Industrial IOT routers.


Who You Are

• You are experienced in designing and implementing web based applications specializing in Front end web technologies such as React JS, and API, preferably in Networking/Network Management domain.
• You can understand the design concepts and develop a scalable Web /java/GoLang application.
• Your communication and presentation skills are exemplary and you grow with working in a highly collaborative, inclusive, and agile atmosphere with multi-functional teams.

• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience on React JS, Core Java, REST and DBMS development.
• Education: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS (CS/EC)
• Strong experience in developing Web application UX/UI using React
• Hands on experience with programming skills Java, RESTful API, DBMS
• Experience in Dockers, microservices & Kunernetes.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources, databases and API services.
• Knowledge on AWS /Azure Cloud services.
• Strong in object oriented design and programming
• Should have Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead a team, technically

• Organized, attention to details, able to work both independently and as a team member
• Hands-on experience in agile, CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins
• Good writing and communication skills
• IoT and Network & Device Management experience in IT or OT environment is a plus

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in CS/EE or related engineering discipline

10+ years of professional experience in software design and development

• Experience working with Frontend Web technologies React/Angular JS, Java Technologies, APIs, DBMS etc

• Experience working in Networking/Network Management/IoT domains

• Experience working in an Agile/Lean software environment

• Demonstrates initiative and competence
