We are seeking an experienced iOS Lead Engineer to drive the technical architecture, engineering excellence, and team leadership of our iOS product platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will design scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and own end-to-end delivery of complex iOS applications used in real-world, production environments.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Drive architectural design using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular patterns.
Lead complex iOS application development using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern Apple frameworks.
Architect advanced modules involving CoreLocation, MapKit, and location-driven workflows.
Oversee integrations such as Push Notifications (APNs), in-app permissions, and Apple Wallet / PassKit.
Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient REST API communication.
Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and UI responsiveness.
Team Leadership
Mentor and guide iOS engineers; enforce coding standards and engineering best practices.
Conduct architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint estimations.
Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Act as the technical owner of the iOS codebase and engineering decisions.
Delivery Excellence
Troubleshoot complex issues including crashes, memory leaks, network failures, and GPS accuracy problems.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and build/release workflows.
Own App Store deployments, versioning strategies, and release cycles end-to-end.
Required Skills & Expertise
Deep expertise in Swift, iOS SDKs, and modern concurrency (async/await, GCD, Combine).
Strong proficiency with SwiftUI and UIKit, including complex custom UI architectures.
Advanced hands-on experience with:
CoreLocation, location permissions, geofencing
MapKit (Apple Maps) and navigation/mapping workflows
Push Notifications (APNs)
In-app permissions (camera, location, photos, notifications, etc.)
Apple Wallet / PassKit integration
Strong command of MVVM and Clean Architecture.
Expertise in building robust network layers (REST APIs, caching, offline sync).
Strong debugging skills using Xcode Instruments, Crashlytics, and performance profiling tools.
Experience with Git branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality tools.
Proven leadership in delivering enterprise-grade, scalable mobile applications.
