About the Business Unit

The Languages business encompasses all non-English or Indic Brands within the Times Internet portfolio, featuring


a presence in eight regional languages across India, including Navbharat Times in Hindi, Maharashtra Times in


Marathi, Vijay Karnataka in Kannada, Samayam in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and I am Gujarat.


Our Languages division stands as the fastest-growing regional content platform in India. We have an audience base


of 180 million users, with approximately one in every four Indians engaging with Times Internet Languages


Platforms. We are the leading news and information player in the Indic Languages category on Comscore. We have


maintained this dominance for several years now.


Diversity is at the heart of our community. Our audience is predominantly young, primarily below the age of 34


and has a strong female presence. We have a strong presence on social platforms with 24Mn followers on

About the Role:

We're hiring an iOS Developer passionate about building clean, user-friendly apps using SwiftUI for our bilingual, media rich content platform. You'll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to create engaging mobile experiences that combine articles, videos, and short-form content in Hindi and English.

Must-Have Skills:

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Swift and SwiftUI.


2. Good understanding of Combine, ViewModel patterns, and modular architecture.


3. Strong skills in API consumption, error handling, and state management.


4. Experience integrating analytics and 3rd-party libraries.


5. Proficiency in Xcode and version control (Git).

Good to Have:

1. Knowledge of local database frameworks, and UI animation.


2. Exposure to AI/ML APIs, multilingual UI, or offline-first features.


3. Experience contributing to App Store apps or startup environments.
