Alcon is looking to hire an IOL Specialist (Intra Ocular Lens) at Chandigarh Drive IOL business and Laser removal cataract surgery procedures and assist surgeons/ hospitals and their staff to develop and extend innovative practice improvements, including patient counseling and biometry, provide critical "clinical support" to Surgeons/Hospitals on Alcon Advanced Technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Support growth of AT-IOL's in the sales region.
Execute Demo and clinical support for Diagnostic Equipment has to achieve business target.
Consultant to handle all diagnostics related queries to the ASM & team in his assigned territory
Provide quality service to internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding organizational values at all times
Provide clinical support to ophthalmic practices as identified by Surgical Sales Team.
ORA, LENSTAR and VERION Demo & post installation Clinical Support
Drive Practice Development initiatives in accordance with the Practice Development Team
Assess and identify needs of practice to improve surgical outcomes.
Communicate with relevant doctors and staff members within the practice to develop a customized action plan.
Assist practices and analyze their outcomes (e.g. reviewing files, data entry for analysis) as required. Review patient files and data. Data entry and analysis as required.
Train staff on the theory and techniques of improving biometry measurements as required.
Provide timely feedback to Area Sales Manager, Brand Manager and Practice Development team.
Provide support to TSE in developing their customers and improving AT IOL sales for their accounts.
Conduct assigned number of Round Table Meeting per year.
Regular reporting in Sales Force Effectiveness and meet the numbers for Operation Room calls.
Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative).
Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
University Graduate/Post Graduate in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy.
Minimum 4 years selling experience in medical device/healthcare industry
Internal Applicants: Minimum 4 years selling experience in medical device/healthcare industry with min 2 years role maturity in the last held role.
Proficient in English
Work hours: Will be dependent on the field schedule
Travel Requirements: Domestic only (50% - 70%)
