Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Material Inspection:

Perform inspection and testing of all incoming materials/components as per specifications. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable). Verify certificates of analysis/conformance and other relevant documents.

Supplier Quality Management:

Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues and improvement actions. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations periodically. Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) with updated supplier ratings.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain records of inspections, test results, and supplier quality performance. Generate and maintain NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for non-compliant materials. Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and sampling plans.

Root Cause Analysis & CAPA:

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for incoming quality issues. Ensure timely closure of quality issues related to incoming materials.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / industry-specific quality standards. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and insights.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas of improvement in the incoming inspection process. Support initiatives for cost reduction and quality enhancement through supplier development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Quality Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years in a similar role in manufacturing or engineering industry.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and inspection tools. Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and quality tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc. Understanding of ERP systems and quality modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Soft Skills:

Good communication and coordination skills. Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in teams.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
