Job Overview



The Inward & Outward Executive is responsible for managing the complete movement of goods into and out of the warehouse. This includes handling

inward GRN

,

outward SRN

,

dispatch

,

e-way bill generation

,

gate pass management

, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role ensures smooth warehouse operations, proper documentation, and timely coordination with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Inward Management (GRN)



Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices. Inspect goods for quantity, quality, and damages. Prepare and update

GRN (Goods Receipt Note)

accurately in the system. Coordinate with the procurement and accounts teams for any discrepancies. Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inward materials.

2. Outward Management (SRN & Dispatch)



Process

SRN (Stock Return Note)

for outbound returns or transfers. Pick, pack, and dispatch orders as per the requirement. Schedule and coordinate dispatch with transporters or internal logistics teams. Ensure goods are dispatched on time and in good condition. Maintain daily dispatch registers for record-keeping.

3. E-way Bill & Documentation



Generate

e-way bills

for all outward shipments as per statutory requirements. Prepare and maintain all necessary documents such as invoices, packing lists, gate passes, and dispatch documents. Ensure all documentation is accurate and filed systematically.

4. Gate Pass Management



Issue gate passes for inward and outward material movement (returnable and non-returnable). Maintain gate pass logs and ensure proper authorization from relevant departments. Coordinate with security personnel for entry/exit of goods.

5. Inventory Coordination



Update inventory records in the system after every inward and outward transaction. Monitor stock levels and report shortages/damages immediately. Follow FIFO/FEFO or other inventory management practices to ensure optimized stock rotation. Assist in monthly/quarterly physical stock verification.

6. Returns & Reverse Logistics



Manage customer returns, vendor returns, and damaged stock returns. Inspect returned items and update the system accordingly. Coordinate with sales, QC, and accounts teams for return approvals.

7. Coordination & Communication



Work closely with the procurement, logistics, store, and accounts teams to ensure smooth operations. Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse staff for issue resolution. Escalate discrepancies, damages, or delivery delays promptly.

8. Compliance & Quality Control



Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse area.

Required Skills & Qualifications



1-4 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations (inward/outward handling preferred). Strong understanding of

GRN, SRN, e-way bills, dispatch, gate pass

and warehouse documentation. Knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, or inventory software (preferred). Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
