About the Role:



As an Invoicing Trainee, you will support the invoicing process by ensuring timely and accurate preparation of invoices. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, detail oriented, and ready to build a strong foundation in financial operations.



What You'll Be Doing:



Invoice Preparation & Submission Assist in preparing and issuing invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Data Entry & Systems Enter invoices into customer portals and EDI systems, update status in Navision, and maintain submission logs. Documentation & Compliance Verify invoice details, attach supporting documents, and maintain SOPs for invoicing processes. Reconciliation & Support Assist in reconciling self-billed cases, handle invoice rejections, and support credit control in collections. Reporting & Tracking Maintain invoice submission logs, generate basic reports, and track invoice status for internal stakeholders. Collaboration Work closely with payroll and invoicing teams to accelerate submissions and resolve discrepancies. Process Improvement Contribute to improving invoicing platforms, suggest automation ideas, and streamline workflows. Learning & Development Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of invoicing systems, financial processes, and compliance standards.



What We're Looking For:



Experience: Fresh graduates to candidates with up to 1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing or finance-related roles. Educational Background: Degree in Commerce or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA preferred). Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with internal teams and clients. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables. Accounting Knowledge: Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial workflows.
