Role Summary

PA Logistics Group is a growing logistics and transportation company operating across trucking, brokerage, warehousing, and freight forwarding. We are hiring an Accountant/Bookkeeper to oversee and manage the company's day-to-day accounting / invoicing operations, and support accurate financial reporting as the business scales.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on execution, accuracy, and accountability.

You will be responsible for maintaining clean books, managing AR and AP cycles, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial visibility for operations and leadership. The role requires a

strong understanding of logistics-specific accounting,

including carrier payments, and customer invoicing.

You will work closely with operations, leadership, and external partners to ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready, while helping establish scalable accounting processes to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

Daily verification of invoices and submission to customers Daily verification of invoices from carriers and approval for payments Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities across all operations Handle accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, collections tracking, and payment applications Manage accounts payable, including carrier payments, vendor bills, and expense reimbursements Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and factoring statements Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Monitor cash flow, aging reports, and working capital metrics Coordinate with factoring companies, banks, and payment processors Maintain organized financial records and documentation Assist in improving accounting workflows, controls, and internal processes

Qualifications

Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within logistics, transportation, 3PL, or supply chain High attention to detail and accuracy Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring deadlines Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Clear communication skills and ability to work cross functionally Strong understanding of AR/AP cycles, reconciliations
