The Site Support Assistant is responsible for the timely delivery of delegated tasks and provides ongoing support to Global Investigator Support Department by assisting on workflow and maintaining Global Investigator Support documentation and communications to all parties.
  • Keep patient safety consistently as top priority in the day to day operations
o Escalate promptly patient safety issues needed for resolution o Manage, organize and ensure timely contact of investigator sites or its representative via email or any other form of communication per workflow assigned.
  • Support Global Investigator Service (GIS) and GIS coordinators for administrative responsibilities requested by investigator site or its representative.
o Prepare and deliver Airway bills and shipping documents as requested o Follow-up on samples delivered in error (Delivery Error)\xe2\x80\x9d with appropriate departments until the resolution o Communicate with investigator site Specimen Pending Arrival Reports and request shipping o Assist with Investigator Portal or Sponsor Portal login issues, access or any other related questions o Compile information for communication to investigator site when new policies or procedures are implemented.
  • Support Global Investigator Service (GIS) and GIS coordinators query resolution responsibilities
o Search and update the database with appropriate information from each investigator site or its representative for follow-up attempt o Escalate information coming from investigator site or its representative as needed to assigned global coordinator(s) o Resolve simple to moderate hold issues generated in the system or assigned by the global team o Investigate and answer project related questions via email or any other form of communication.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental guidelines and company standards.
o Document all service failures, work with global team to resolve and escalate to management when appropriate resolution is incomplete o Manage training folders and update documentation as needed. o Review Standard Operating Procedures and other documents in a timely manner. o Tracks and reports workflow data as determined by management in the agreed timelines.
  • Maintain continuous learning objectives.
o Complete on-boarding training. o Complete mandatory Company Corporate and departmental trainings. o Attend mandatory meetings. o Participate in on-going training initiatives regarding process and systems changes and/or updates.
  • All other duties as assigned
