Duties Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Drug Enforcement Office (DEA), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Foreign Service Investigator (FSN-I), performs a wide a range of duties including analysis of critical elements of all intelligence received from sources and counterparts; prepares correspondence and reports on Narcotics matters; assesses, evaluates, makes decisions and finds solutions regarding requests for both administrative and operational assistance from a wide range of foreign and domestic clients, such as Government ministries, Narcotics agencies, other government departments and Drug Liaison Officers (DLOs) from respective countries, attends to a wide range of other operational/management matters and performs a variety of diverse duties as required by the DEA New Delhi Country Office (NDCO). The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: The position requires five years of experience in investigative or security work with military, police, private security, or a Government organization.

Education Requirements:
The position requires completion of a Bachelor\'s degree in Business/Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Law, Sociology/Social Science, International relations or Public Administration.

LANGUAGE:
Level 4 (Fluent) in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required. This may be tested.

AND

Level 4 (Fluent) in Hindi (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.

Please attach a copy of the valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted.

Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age. Any applicant that possess a valid driving license issued for less than 5 years will not be considered.
Please note 5 years should have been completed by the Closing date of the vacancy. If the applicant had renewed their driver\xe2\x80\x99s license they must include copy of old and current driver\xe2\x80\x99s license in order for HR to confirm the issuance date. The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office. Other Information:
