Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Investigating Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence, and preparing detailed reports. This role requires a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and work on leads on infringement of client brands
Develop and nurture a dependable informer network
Conduct comprehensive investigations into various cases, including but not limited to brand protection, fraud and misconduct.
Gather, analyze, and interpret evidence from multiple sources.
Interview witnesses and suspects to obtain relevant information.
Prepare detailed and accurate investigation reports.
Collaborate with other departments and external agencies as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in investigation procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduate or higher degree from any stream
Proven experience in conducting investigations, preferably in brand protection
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously and work as a team player.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Proficiency in using investigation tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree or certification in a related field.
Experience with digital forensics and cybersecurity investigations will have an added advantage.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Other Requirements:
Must own a two-wheeler in good condition
