Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary contact for the sales team for all inventoryrelated inquiries.
Respond to sales personnel queries on SKU availability, stock status, and dispatch. Share clear timelines for manufacturing and delivery when stock is not available.
SKU Availability & Planning: Check real-time inventory levels against incoming sales requirements. Coordinate with production and planning teams to confirm manufacturing lead time.
Communicate committed dates clearly to sales for customer confirmation.
Inventory Monitoring & Production Coordination: Regularly keep an eye on inventory levels and track SKUs against minimum stock limits.
Identify items that are running low or have already gone below the required level. Share these gaps with the production team in advance.
Alternate SKU & Order Adjustment Support: Suggest suitable alternate SKUs when requested items are unavailable.
Support sales person in adjusting orders based on available sizes, grades or alternatives.
Order Feasibility & Commitment: Validate whether requested quantities can be fulfilled within the required timeline.
Communicate if any delays may occur.
Sample Coordination & Dispatch: Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer sample requirements and communicate these details to the Sample Department.
Follow up to ensure samples are prepared within the required timeline. Once samples are ready, coordinate with the respective sales person to manage dispatch and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
Data & Reporting: Maintain a simple and updated record of SKU availability, lead times, and recurring sales inquiries & also maintain proper records of all outgoing samples. o Process Discipline: Ensure all communication to sales team is accurate. Respond to sales queries within defined timelines.
Requirements
Graduate preferred
1-3 years experience in inventory management / sales coordination
Knowledge of stock management, basic logistics & invoicing
Good command over MS Excel; ERP knowledge is an advantage
Strong coordination and communication skills
