Forecasting:

Analyzing sales data, market trends, and other factors to predict future demand.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring stock levels, identifying potential shortages or overstocks, and managing the flow of goods.

Purchase Order Management:

Working with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials or products.

Maintaining Optimal Stock Levels:

Balancing inventory costs with customer service needs to avoid stockouts or excessive holding costs.

Collaborating with other departments:

Working with sales, marketing, and other teams to align inventory plans with overall business objectives.
Tools and Technologies:

Inventory Management Systems (IMS):

Software platforms that help track inventory, manage orders, and provide data for decision-making.

Inventory Planner Software:

Specialized tools that offer features like forecasting, buying recommendations, and reporting.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Using data to identify trends, analyze performance, and make informed decisions.
