Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Inventory Manager to manage and control inventory for our garment manufacturing unit. The role involves overseeing raw materials, accessories, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure smooth production flow, accurate stock records, and minimal wastage.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Management
Maintain accurate stock records of fabrics, trims, accessories, packing materials, and finished goods.
Monitor inward and outward movement of inventory.
Ensure optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Production Coordination
Coordinate with production, cutting, stitching, and finishing teams for material issuance.
Plan and issue materials as per production schedules and job orders.
Track work-in-progress (WIP) inventory stage-wise.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Maintain GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and return records.
Highlight shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items to management.
Quality & Loss Prevention
Identify damaged, rejected, or excess materials and report promptly.
Minimize material wastage, pilferage, and discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Follow company SOPs and inventory control procedures.
Assist in audits and compliance checks.
Suggest improvements for inventory accuracy and cost control.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline .
Experience
1-5 years of experience in inventory or store management.
Experience in garment or textile manufacturing industry preferred.
Skills
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment production processes.
Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software/ERP preferred).
Good numerical accuracy and record-keeping skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
Basic communication skills (Hindi / English preferred).
