The Inventory Manager at Quixa Hypermart will be responsible for overseeing the entire inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, timely replenishment, and effective coordination between departments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability to manage the stock team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet operational and sales requirements.
Manage stock receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions in the system.
Coordinate with purchasing and sales departments to forecast demand and avoid overstock or stockouts.
Ensure proper product labeling, handling, and storage according to company standards.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
Supervise and train storekeepers and stock handlers.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
Report damaged, expired, or slow-moving items and take corrective action.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (preferably in retail or hypermarket operations).
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Leadership skills and team management experience.
