Inventory Manager
to oversee and optimize our inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth day-to-day store management.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily inventory operations across all departments.
Maintain accurate stock levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and system updates.
Monitor product movement and analyze trends to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to manage deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
Implement effective inventory control procedures and best practices.
Generate inventory reports and present insights to management.
Supervise inventory staff and provide training to ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with store and warehouse teams to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Inventory Manager, Inventory Controller, or similar role (retail/grocery experience preferred).
Strong understanding of inventory control systems, stock management, and supply chain principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience).
