The Inventory Manager shall be responsible for the
overall management, control, and monitoring of all inventory and store materials of M/s Kumarji Lal
, including materials utilized across head office, stores, and all project sites operated by the firm. He shall ensure systematic handling of materials to support smooth execution of operation and maintenance projects and other works undertaken by the company.
The Inventory Manager shall maintain
complete, accurate, and updated records of all inventory
available in the company store, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and consumable materials. All inward and outward movements of materials shall be properly recorded through store registers, material issue slips, and digital records, supported by purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
He shall ensure that
every material issued from the store is traceable
, clearly indicating
the name of the employee or site in-charge to whom the material is issued, the specific project/site for which it is issued, quantity, date, and purpose
. No material shall be issued without proper authorization as per company procedures, and acknowledgment of receipt shall be strictly obtained.
The Inventory Manager shall monitor
site-wise and person-wise material consumption
, track stock levels, and ensure timely availability of critical spares and consumables required for uninterrupted project operations. He shall regularly review inventory levels and coordinate with management for timely procurement to avoid shortages or excess stocking.
He shall conduct
periodic physical stock verification
, reconcile physical stock with recorded balances, and promptly report any discrepancies, shortages, damages, or losses to the management of M/s Kumarji Lal. Corrective and preventive measures shall be implemented to maintain inventory accuracy and control.
The Inventory Manager shall ensure
proper storage, labeling, preservation, and security of materials
, preventing damage, corrosion, pilferage, or misuse. FIFO practices shall be followed wherever applicable, and store areas shall be maintained in an organized and safe condition.
He shall coordinate closely with
project engineers, site supervisors, procurement personnel, and the accounts department
for material planning, issuance, return of surplus materials from sites, and inventory reconciliation for accounting and audit purposes.
The Inventory Manager shall prepare and submit
daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
to management, including stock position, site-wise material issuance, consumption details, and pending requirements. He shall also support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data and documentation.
He shall strictly follow the
store management policies and procedures of M/s Kumarji Lal
, maintaining transparency, accountability, and discipline in inventory handling.
