We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Executive to manage and support inventory operations related to shipping and marine equipment. The role is open to candidates with 1+ year of inventory experience in a shipping line as well as freshers with relevant marine engineering or nautical qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------


Monitor, maintain, and control inventory levels for marine spares, equipment, and consumables Coordinate with shipping lines, vendors, warehouses, and internal teams for inventory movement Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems Track inbound and outbound materials and ensure timely availability Assist in stock audits, reconciliation, and reporting Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations Support procurement and logistics teams with inventory-related data Identify shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items Prepare inventory reports and documentation as required

Eligibility & Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 1+ year of experience in inventory management with a shipping line, marine company, or logistics organization OR Fresher with strong academic background and willingness to learn

Educational Qualifications:

PG Diploma in Marine Engineering B.Tech / BE in Marine Engineering Diploma in Nautical Science

Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of shipping operations and marine inventory Knowledge of marine spares and technical equipment (preferred) Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems Strong analytical and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
