The Order and Repair Executive - Gold Counter is responsible for managing the procurement, maintenance, and repair of gold counters and related fixtures. The role ensures that all counters are in excellent working and visual condition, supporting smooth retail operations and maintaining brand presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Ordering and Procurement
Identify requirements for new gold counters, display units, and fixtures across stores.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
Ensure materials meet company standards in terms of design, quality, and durability.
2. Repair and Maintenance
Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of gold counters and display units.
Inspect counters periodically to identify wear, damage, or malfunction.
Coordinate with technicians, carpenters, or contractors for repair work.
Maintain a repair log and track turnaround times for service requests.
3. Vendor Coordination
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, fabricators, and service providers.
Negotiate costs and service terms to ensure best value for the company.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.
4. Inventory and Documentation
Maintain a database of all counters, display units, and their maintenance history.
Track spare parts inventory and initiate reorders as necessary.
Prepare periodic reports on repair costs, order status, and asset condition.
5. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all repair and installation work complies with safety and quality standards.
Support store teams during counter installation, relocation, or renovation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Operations, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in Inventory maintenance coordination, or retail operations (preferably in jewelry or luxury retail).
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Basic technical understanding of display counters, electrical fittings, and maintenance procedures.
Good communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
