Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our

Inventory Department

. The ideal candidate should have a

basic understanding of fabrics, threads, trims, and colours

, and be able to efficiently manage material inflow, outflow, and stock levels to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials (fabrics, threads, accessories, trims, etc.). Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of fabrics and materials as per quality standards. Coordinate with the

production and designing teams

to issue materials as per the order requirements. Regularly update inventory management systems and reconcile physical stock with system records. Conduct

weekly and monthly stock audits

to ensure zero discrepancies. Maintain colour, fabric, and thread swatches for reference and sampling. Check for fabric quality, shrinkage, and dye lot consistency before issuing for production. Track vendor deliveries and maintain documentation for purchase and consumption. Monitor low-stock items and raise material requisitions on time. Support inventory head in implementing efficient storage, identification, and retrieval systems.

Key Requirements:

Basic knowledge of

fabrics, threads, colours, and trims

. Good understanding of garment material flow from purchase to production. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory software preferred). Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum

Graduate / Diploma

in Textile, Fashion, or related field.

0-3 years

of experience in inventory, store, or material handling (preferably in the fashion or garment industry).
