Key responsibilities
Manage stock and movement: Oversee all incoming and outgoing stock, record transactions, and perform physical cycle counts to verify stock levels.
Ensure accuracy: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Optimize inventory: Plan and forecast inventory needs based on sales projections, maintain appropriate buffer stock levels, and identify and resolve supply chain issues.
Perform data entry: Accurately input data from various sources, such as invoices, receipts, and physical records, into the inventory management system.
Coordinate with teams: Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing, to place timely orders, and with warehouse staff for efficient handling of goods.
Generate reports: Create and analyze reports on stock levels, demand, and inventory optimization to provide insights for management.
Uphold quality and safety: Conduct quality checks on incoming goods and ensure all warehouse operations adhere to safety and compliance standards.
