Position: Inventory Controller Work Experience: 2-3 years CTC- upto 2.4 LPA Key Job Responsibilities: 1.Inward Process Management:
\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming goods.
\xc2\xb7 Verify the quantity and quality of received items against purchase orders.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to
incoming shipments.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of received goods in the inventory management system. 2. Outbound Process Management:
\xc2\xb7 Efficiently manage the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer orders.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure accurate order fulfillment and proper packaging to prevent damage during
transportation.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain records of outbound shipments and update the inventory system accordingly. 3. Physical Inventory Counts:
\xc2\xb7 Plan and execute regular weekly and monthly physical inventory counts.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate counting and reconciliation of physical
inventory.
\xc2\xb7 Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and take corrective
actions.
\xc2\xb7 Implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy. 4. MIS Reporting:
\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain a system for generating relevant MIS reports on a regular basis.
\xc2\xb7 Prepare reports related to inventory levels, inward and outward movement of goods, and
inventory aging.
\xc2\xb7 Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
\xc2\xb7 Present MIS reports to management in a clear and concise manner. 5. Process Improvement:
\xc2\xb7 Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization within inbound, outbound, and
inventory management.
\xc2\xb7 Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce operational
bottlenecks. 6. Team Coordination:
\xc2\xb7 Supervise and lead the warehouse team responsible for inbound and outbound processes. -Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. \xc2\xb7 Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. 8. Customer Satisfaction:
\xc2\xb7 Monitor order fulfillment accuracy and on-time delivery to ensure high customer satisfaction.
\xc2\xb7 Address customer inquiries and concerns related to orders, shipments, and inventory
availability. 9. Inventory Management:
\xc2\xb7 Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or stock adjustments.
\xc2\xb7 Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs. 10. Handling of Inventory Management Software and mail communication.
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with inventory management software systems is crucial for tracking and managing stock levels, orders, and shipments. This includes skills in data entry, updating records, and generating reports. Understanding how to operate and troubleshoot barcode scanners and related equipment is essential for accurate tracking of items during both inbound and outbound processes.
\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook can aid in creating reports, managing documentation, and communicating effectively with team members and other departments.
\xc2\xb7 Basic email etiquette and communication skills are important for coordinating with suppliers customers and other team members, especially when dealing with inbound and outbound queries or issues.
