Bachelor's degree

Supply Chain Management

, or related field. Diploma or certification in

inventory control

ERP systems

(preferred but not always required). Advanced certifications (optional but valuable):

APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

Experience

2-5 years

of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics. Familiarity with

stock control systems

, inventory software (e.g.,

SAP

Oracle

,

NetSuite

,

Tally

,

Zoho Inventory

). Experience working with

supply chain

or

production departments

.

Key Skills

Excellent knowledge of

inventory procedures

stock-taking methods

. Proficient in

and other spreadsheet/data analysis tools. Strong

skills. Ability to identify and reconcile

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain accurate

stock levels

across all locations. Perform regular

stock audits

, cycle counts, and reconcile variances. Create and manage

inventory reports

, tracking KPIs like turnover rate, shrinkage, and aging stock. Coordinate with

purchasing

,

warehouse

, and

finance

teams. Ensure inventory is stored and rotated according to

FIFO/LIFO

standards. Track incoming and outgoing shipments to match inventory records.
